Baseball Recap: Revere's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Revere unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Field Falcons. If the Minutemen were looking for revenge after losing 11-3 to the Falcons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Revere saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Gartland, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Revere's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Field, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

While Revere had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
