Football Recap: Pine Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Pine's offense. They lost 22-0 to the Okeechobee Brahmans on Thursday. The defeat leaves the Knights still looking for their first win of the season.

Pine's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Okeechobee, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Pine will challenge Lincoln Park Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Greyhounds' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Okeechobee, they will take on Pahokee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Brahmans 9.8, the Blue Devils 12.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
