Loomis has gone 8-2 against Brady recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Loomis Wolves will challenge the Brady Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Loomis has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 6.

Loomis is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Dundy County-Stratton on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Loomis came up short against Dundy County-Stratton, falling 64-42. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Tigers are ranked 97th).

Meanwhile, Brady was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 57-51 to Maxwell.

Loomis barely slipped by Brady in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 34-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Loomis since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
