Soccer Game Preview: Murphysboro vs. Marion + Official Tickets

The Murphysboro Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Marion Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Murphysboro lost 4-1 to Lebanon on Saturday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Murphysboro were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Carbondale. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 26, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Murphysboro suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 11-5-3. As for Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
