Volleyball Recap: Grand Junction Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Grand Junction lost against Durango back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Demons. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-13.

Hadyn Bunnell paced Grand Junction's offense, picking up six kills. Bunnell got some help from Grace Ludlam and her seven assists. Finally, Bunnell was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Grand Junction suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-6. As for Durango, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grand Junction will face off against rival Palisade at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Durango is set to challenge their familiar foe Montrose at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
