Basketball Game Preview: PikeView Panthers vs. Liberty Raiders

The PikeView Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Liberty Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. PikeView has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three games.

Last Friday, PikeView didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Nicholas County, but they still walked away with a 55-49 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Liberty earned a 56-43 win over Summers County on Friday.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for PikeView, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

PikeView strolled past Liberty in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 76-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for PikeView since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
