Basketball Recap: Bluejacket Comes Up Short

After flying high against Foyil on Tuesday, Bluejacket came back down to earth. The contest between the Chieftains and the Afton Eagles didn't end well, with the Chieftains falling 56-39. The Chieftains haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Bluejacket now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Afton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Bluejacket will square off against South Coffeyville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Afton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Colcord at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
