Basketball Recap: Sublette Comes Up Short

Sublette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 41st straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Stanton County Trojans 60-23. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-18 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Sublette had strong showings from Serenity Clubb, who posted eight points and five rebounds, and Jasee Mcvey, who scored three points and eight boards. Those eight boards gave Mcvey a new career-high. Janessa Torres also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Sublette's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Stanton County, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-10.

Sublette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stanton County, they will take on Syracuse at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
