Seguin strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand the Burleson Elks a 21-0 shutout. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Elks, too.

Seguin's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Burleson, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Seguin will take on rival Grapevine at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. Meanwhile, Burleson is set to challenge their familiar foe Mansfield Summit at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
