Volleyball Recap: Chamblee Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Chamblee fell just short of Decatur by a score of 2-1. Chamblee was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Decatur earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Despite the loss, Chamblee saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emmy Liang had five digs and two aces. Liang is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Chamblee and nudges their season record down to 19-19. As for Decatur, their win bumped their record up to 15-13.

Chamblee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Decatur, they will take on Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
