Softball Recap: Bismarck Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Gurdon last Thursday, Bismarck came back down to earth. The Bismarck Lions came up short against the Malvern Leopards on Monday, falling 19-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 11-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bismarck's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Malvern, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Bismarck will challenge Glen Rose at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Malvern, they will face off against Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
