Volleyball Recap: Treasure Valley Classical Academy Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Treasure Valley Classical Academy kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Centennial Baptist Mustangs by a score of 3-2.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (105-104), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 25-21, 12-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Matilyn Burke paced Treasure Valley Classical Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Burke got some help from Ella Burke and her seven assists. Trinity Voss controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Centennial Baptist found their leader in sophomore Leilani Malepeai, who had ten aces and five kills.

Treasure Valley Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Wilder on the 28th. As for Centennial Baptist, they will face off against Vision at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
