Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Calvin Christian walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the West Shores Wildcats a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Blake Elders and Aiden Ou scored both of Calvin Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Calvin Christian pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three matchups. As for West Shores, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Looking ahead, Calvin Christian will challenge St. Joseph Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Shores does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
