Baseball Recap: Pope John Paul II Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Pope John Paul II proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the French Settlement Lions a 2-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Blaze Rodriguez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Dieudonne, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
