Alexandria-Monroe had won three straight  games  and  Brady Gast did his part to make it four on Friday. The Tigers really took it to the Blackford Bruins for the full four quarters, racking up  a  63-0 victory with plenty of help from  Gast, who threw for 191 yards and five  touchdowns on perfect 8-for-8 passing. Alexandria-Monroe is undefeated when  Gast posts three or  more  passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Alexandria-Monroe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Mason Fuller and  Carter Sovern. Sovern got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Alexandria-Monroe's record is now 7-2. As for Blackford,  they are  on  a  15-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alexandria-Monroe will welcome Eastbrook  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Tigers 13.3, the Panthers 11.9) so any  points scored will be well earned. As for Blackford, they will square off against Eastern at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
