Basketball Recap: Osborn Triumphs

Osborn's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They slipped by the South Holt Knights 52-51. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 60-51 loss the last time these two teams met.

Osborn is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for South Holt, they dropped their record down to 6-20 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Osborn has already played their next game, a 72-25 win against Union Star on the 7th. As for South Holt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-51 loss against Stewartsville on the 4th.
