Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Lakeshore

Lakeshore proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 42) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Central Bearcats 48-46. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lakeshore pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Lakeshore (ranked 79th) will meet Dowagiac (ranked 444th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central will face off against Harper Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 188 places (152 vs. 340).
