The Heartland Huskies lost to the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines back in January, but the Heartland Huskies didn't allow the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines the same satisfaction on Friday. Heartland had just enough and edged Wilber-Clatonia out 28-25.
Allie Boehr was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Heartland back to even at 1-1. As for Wilber-Clatonia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Heartland will be playing in front of their home fans against Sutton at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they will head out on the road to face off against Raymond Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
