Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Christian Academy Falls Short of Lakewood Park Christian in the Playoffs

Lakeland Christian Academy and Lakewood Park Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lakeland Christian Academy had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Cougars have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Eva Meza paced Lakeland Christian Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Meza got some help from Lila Harmon and her four assists. Olivia Hawks controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Delaney Johnson, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Lakeland Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Lakewood Park Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.
