Soccer Recap: Chavez Falls Short of Granite Hills in the Playoffs

Chavez and Granite Hills squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Chavez had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Granite Hills Grizzlies by a score of 2-1. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Titans couldn't quite close it out.

Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Granite Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-10.

Chavez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granite Hills, they will square off against Dos Palos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dos Palos is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
