Soccer Recap: Fishers Takes a Loss

Fishers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Homestead Spartans, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Fishers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Homestead are ranked second).

Fishers' goal came courtesy of Elise May, who's now up to six this season.

Fishers' loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Homestead, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.

Coming up, Fishers will host Franklin Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Homestead, they will take on Fort Wayne Canterbury at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
