Basketball Recap: Red Rock Comes Up Short

Red Rock lost against Rancho Solano Prep back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Rock Scorpions were dealt a 70-30 loss at the hands of the Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matthew Quinlan was his usual excellent self, putting up 27 points for Rancho Solano Prep. Wyatt Fulton was another key player, posting 12 points.

Red Rock now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Rancho Solano Prep, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Red Rock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 82-63 defeat against BASIS Flagstaff on the 9th. Rancho Solano Prep has also already played their next game, a 47-37 win against Rocky Mountain on the 6th.
