The Suffolk Christian Academy Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Portsmouth Christian Patriots at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Suffolk Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, it was a hard-fought match, but Suffolk Christian Academy had to settle for a 50-48 loss against Tidewater Academy.
Meanwhile, Portsmouth Christian strolled past Broadwater Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 46-27. The win was just what Portsmouth Christian needed coming off of a 68-22 defeat in their prior matchup.
Suffolk Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Portsmouth Christian, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.
Suffolk Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Portsmouth Christian in their previous matchup back in February, but they still walked away with a 54-48 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Suffolk Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
