Walt Whitman came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Longwood Lions with a sharp 60-35 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Walt Whitman's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Longwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Walt Whitman will welcome Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brentwood will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Walt Whitman surely won't give up without a fight. Longwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
