Baseball Game Preview: Ingleside Mustangs vs. Sinton Pirates

Ingleside hasn't had much luck against Sinton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. The last five games Ingleside has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Ingleside didn't have quite enough to beat Rockport-Fulton and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by just one run.

Meanwhile, Sinton didn't have quite enough to beat Calhoun on Thursday and fell 5-4.

Connor Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Karsen McCoy also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Ingleside's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-2. As for Sinton, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-6-1.
