Football Recap: Legacy Tigers vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders        
        
		
             Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They received a  blow  as they fell  40-23 to the Roosevelt Rough Riders. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rough Riders apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2023.
 Despite the loss, Legacy still got an impressive performance from   Damian Carlos, who rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.  Nathan Zepeda was another key player, throwing for 119 yards and a touchdown.
 Even though they lost, Legacy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 249  rushing yards. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 0  rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last three matches they've averaged 280.3.
 Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Roosevelt, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
 Legacy will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bell at 7:00  p.m.  on October 10th. As for Roosevelt, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Huntington Park at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
