Basketball Recap: Cameron Dragons vs. Trinity Christian Warriors
Cameron extended their losing streak to 11 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-16. They were dealt a 66-38 defeat at the hands of the Trinity Christian Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-33 back in January.
As for Trinity Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.
Trinity Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Austin Porta led the charge by going 6-for-11 from beyond the arc to rack up 25 points. Porta's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Collin Lemley was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten boards.
