Volleyball Recap: Christian Home Educators Fellowship Finds Home Court Redemption Against John Paul the Great Academy

There's no place like home for Christian Home Educators Fellowship, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the John Paul the Great Academy Guardians on Tuesday. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Guardians, too.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Violet Bernard, who had six aces and four digs.

They weren't the only good server: Christian Home Educators Fellowship was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as John Paul the Great Academy only served two aces.

John Paul the Great Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Therese Friddell, who had eight kills and one assist.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship now has a winning record of 2-1. As for John Paul the Great Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
