Softball Game Preview: Folsom Bulldogs vs. Davis Sr. Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Folsom will face off against Davis Sr.. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

While Folsom's victory against Davis Sr. wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 3-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

For Davis Sr.'s part, they got a good showing from Lalya Duarte, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Duarte has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Davis Sr. saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Yao, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Davis Sr. has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Folsom, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-2.
