Football Recap: Glenpool Comes Up Short

Glenpool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 28-21 to the Hilldale Hornets. The Warriors lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-10 score last time.

Brady Scott was his usual excellent self, rushing for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, while also picking up 89 receiving yards for Hilldale.

Glenpool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hilldale, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Glenpool is set to square off against their familiar foe Poteau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hilldale will take on rival Ada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
