Lafayette had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They snuck past the Clarksdale Wildcats with a 48-42 victory. This was a revenge game for the Commodores: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in January, they had to take a 46-40 defeat.

Lafayette has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Clarksdale, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Lafayette nor Clarksdale have any future games scheduled.
