Paradise Honors was the 3-0 winner over Thunderbird when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Paradise Honors took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-10, 24-26, 25-21, 15-11.

Patrick Dyson paced Paradise Honors' offense, picking up 25 kills. Dyson got some help from Kai Harada and his 49 assists. Harada was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Paradise Honors' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Thunderbird, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Paradise Honors wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Cactus Shadows on the 1st. As for Thunderbird, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Moon Valley on the 1st.
