Basketball Game Preview: Hebron Hawks vs. Guyer Wildcats

The Hebron Hawks will head out to square off against the Guyer Wildcats at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Hebron has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Guyer will arrive with five straight wins.

Last Friday, Hebron didn't have quite enough to beat Marcus and fell 44-42.

Meanwhile, Guyer got the win against Coppell on Friday by a conclusive 63-38. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Guyer's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Hebron, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.

Hebron lost to Guyer on the road by a decisive 57-41 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Hebron avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
