Basketball Recap: Wilson Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Wilson Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 29-20 to the Greenfield Knights. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Wilson Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Greenfield, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Scotland Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Chargers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Greenfield, they and Freedom Christian Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
