Philip Barbour came tearing into Wednesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Grafton Bearcats. That's more bragging rights for the Colts, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Philip Barbour was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10.

Izzy Knotts paced Philip Barbour's offense, picking up 15 kills. Knotts got some help from Finley Carpenter and her 13 assists. Carpenter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Philip Barbour's victory bumped their record up to 20-6-1. As for Grafton, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Coincidentally, Philip Barbour and Grafton will both be playing Fairmont Senior the next time they take the court. The Colts will host the Polar Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bearcats will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
