It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Blue Valley Southwest had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Washington Wildcats a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Timberwolves have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Blue Valley Southwest and bumps their season record up to 15-6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Washington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

As of now, neither Blue Valley Southwest nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
