Basketball Recap: South Plaquemines Comes Up Short

South Plaquemines was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 55-42 to the Covenant Christian Academy Lions.

South Plaquemines' defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record this season.

Coming up, South Plaquemines will look to defend their home court on Monday against Sarah T. Reed at 6:45 p.m. As for Covenant Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lions duke it out with the Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. E.D. White will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Covenant Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
