Baseball Recap: Wicomico Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Wicomico's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Bennett Clippers on Thursday. The Indians have struggled against the Clippers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Wicomico's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Bennett, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Wicomico will host Queen Anne's County at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bennett, they will venture away from home to challenge Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
