Recap: Soldotna Stars vs. Birchwood Christian Warriors
On Friday, Soldotna was able to grind out a solid win over Birchwood Christian, taking the game 56-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Soldotna.
Birchwood Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Andrew Severns, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Noah Guderian, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The win got Soldotna back to even at 6-6. As for Birchwood Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
Soldotna and Kenai Central will face off at 3:00 p.m. on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
