Bear River waltzed into their game on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the Lincoln Fighting Zebras with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

While Bear River won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-7.

Grace McKeown paced Bear River's offense, picking up 16 kills. McKeown got some help from Brooke Milligan and her 20 assists. McKeown also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Eden Cha, racking up three apiece.

Bear River's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Lincoln, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.
