After flying high against DeSoto County last Friday, Southeast came back down to earth. The contest between the Seminoles and the Osceola Warriors didn't end well, with the Seminoles falling 28-14. The Seminoles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Southeast lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ladavion Johnson, who rushed for 140 yards. Cornelius Fields was in the mix as well, providing Southeast with two touchdowns.

Brandt Scott was his usual excellent self, rushing for 116 yards and three TDs for Osceola. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Scott a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Leland Valentine, who rushed for 93 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Osceola, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 28-15 victory against Braden River on the 17th. As for Osceola, they have also already played their next game, a 36-7 win against Countryside on the 17th.
