Waxahachie got themselves on the board against Skyline on Friday, but Skyline never followed suit. They blew past the Raiders 18-0. Considering the Indians have won 13 games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Waxahachie is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Skyline, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Waxahachie is set to challenge their familiar foe Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Indians' favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while the Tigers have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Skyline will face off against rival DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
