East Lincoln entered their tilt with North Iredell on Friday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. Their defense stepped up to hand the Raiders a 1-0 shutout. Give East Lincoln's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sydney Dann, who's now up to two this season.

East Lincoln's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five games. As for North Iredell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6-3.
