Volleyball Recap: Valor Christian Eagles vs. Cherry Creek Bruins
Valor Christian was the 3-1 winner over Cherry Creek when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Bruins on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 18-25, 25-15, 25-22.
Reed Fisk paced Valor Christian's offense, picking up 18 kills. Fisk got some help from Darren Wright and his 35 assists. Finally, Ted Ranzan kept Valor Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Cherry Creek found their leader in freshman Liam Lee, who had 16 digs and three assists. Perry Halford also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
