Basketball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington lost against Franklin Pierce back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Washington Patriots took a 39-25 bruising from the Franklin Pierce Cardinals. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly 14 points.

Washington's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Franklin Pierce, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will head out to square off against Foss at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington is facing Foss at the right time seeing as Foss is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Franklin Pierce, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fife at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
