Baseball Recap: O'Connor Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact O'Connor can now relate to. They came up short against the Corona del Sol Aztecs on Tuesday, falling 13-5. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Aztecs: they've now lost four in a row.

O'Connor saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brent Sollars, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Jacoby Noble was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

O'Connor's defeat dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Corona del Sol, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

As of now, neither O'Connor nor Corona del Sol have any future games scheduled.
