There's no place like home for Perry, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Casteel Colts on Tuesday. With that win, the Pumas brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Julianna Nava made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
