Volleyball Recap: Fontainebleau Takes a Loss

Fontainebleau suffered their biggest loss since October 14th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Slidell Tigers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-16.

Ella Kate Spilling was nothing short of spectacular for Slidell: she had 19 digs.

This is the second loss in a row for Fontainebleau and nudges their season record down to 24-15. As for Slidell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fontainebleau will welcome Mandeville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slidell, they will be playing at home against Northlake Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
