Union County hasn't had much luck against Caldwell County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Union County Braves will be playing at home against the Caldwell County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Union County will be strutting in after a victory while Caldwell County will be coming in after a loss.

Union County proved they can win big on Monday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Owensboro Catholic 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since April 12, 2024.

Union County got a great performance from Peyton Jenkins as she pitched 6.1 innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits.
