Baseball Recap: Gladbrook-Reinbeck Comes Up Short

Gladbrook-Reinbeck was the 10-9 winner over Iowa Falls-Alden when they last played one another back in June of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cadets on Friday.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Gladbrook-Reinbeck is taking a road trip to take on Grundy Center at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, they will square off against Clear Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
